This half-day tour from Florence will allow you to experience and taste the Chianti Classico at 360 °, it is a tour designed not only for wine lovers,but also for those who love nature,local traditions and taste all the flavors of the territory. The excursion starts in the early afternoon from the center of Florence, in just over an hour we will reach the Casa del Chianti Classico,located in one of the most beautiful areas of this region now famous all over the world for its wine. Upon our arrival there will be a short welcome with an introduction to the place and its history, in fact the house stands inside a convent that contains in ser a very interesting history. Next, with a glass of wine in hand,we will start a real unique and fun sensory path that will help you to know and appreciate classic Chianti, learn to taste it and understand its countless facets; we will walk through interactive rooms and tasting our glass of room in the room we will learn to recognize colors, scents and the unmistakable taste that this famous wine in the world has. Making a bit of trekking (about 30 minutes) going down and going up the hills passing through the rows of vineyards we will then reach the cellar that is located in front of the House where we will make a visit to discover all the winemaking processes and we will have some time to relax enjoying the landscape. We will then return to the house always passing through the vineyards where there will be a tasty dinner with local products accompanied by a wine tasting, the return to Florence is scheduled between 9.30 pm and 10.00 pm.
What does dinner include? The menu consists of 3 courses, each accompanied by a glass of paired wine: appetizer with a glass of white or rosé wine,a first course of homemade pasta combined with a glass of Chianti Classico and to finish Dolce with Vinsanto del Chianti Classico.
