Legend has it that the name attributed to Valpolicella originates as "Valis polis cellae", the valley from the many cellars,is the name by which the Romans baptize the region after starting the production and marketing of the wines.
The northernst area of the province of Verona from east to west has a long tradition of wine production. The term "Classico" is applied exclusively to the vines located in the oldest wine-producing area of Negrar, Fumane, Marano, Sant'Ambrogio and San Pietro in Cariano, which has a delicate and vinous scent reminiscent of bitter almond.
On this tour you will try the three great classics of Veneto: Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Ripasso and Valpolicella Superiore, accompanied by the genuine flavor of our local products such as cold cuts and cheeses.
